Adopted: Draft planning policy for the protection of public houses (Class A4); Financial and Professional Services (Class A2) and Restaurants and Cafes (Class A3); and draft planning policy relating to use and character

Earlier this spring the Council drafted an issues and options paper concerning how the Council should amend its Core Strategy to consider public houses and other uses that contribute to the character of an area. This paper was consulted on between the 13th March and Friday 27th April 2012.

The Council's response to this issues and options consultation cam be viewed by clicking on the "summary of responses" (below).

The current consultation, "the draft planning policy", is an opportunity for residents and other interested stakeholders to consider two draft policies which the Council hopes will form part of the future Core Strategy. This consultation begins on Tuesday 12th June 2012 and will end at midnight on Monday 23rd July 2012.  

This consultation has now closed.
