Draft Kensington Square Conservation Area Appraisal
Ends: 27 Jun 2017
The Draft Kensington Square Conservation Area Appraisal outlines the historic and architectural significance of the Kensington Square Conservation Area and describes its character and appearance.
The character of a conservation area is defined by a combination of architecture, materials and detailing as well as the relationship between buildings and their settings. Many other elements contribute to character such as the placement of buildings within their plots; views and vistas; the relationship between the street and the buildings and the presence of trees and green space.
The consultation will run for 6 weeks from Tuesday 16 May 2017 to 11:59pm Tuesday 27 June 2017.
The consultation document and an on-line response form can be found on the links below.
Note: This consultation is NOT concerned with the designation of a new conservation area. The Council asks for views on an appraisal that describes the character and appearance of areas which have already been designated.
