As part of the IIA process the Council must review the policies, plans, programmes, strategies and initiatives (PPPSIs) that may have an impact on the preparation of the planning policies being reviewed. These are set out in section 6 of the IIA Scoping report.

When carrying out an IIA the Council must review a "sustainability baseline".  This includes a review of the data used to help inform the formulation of the future policies. This review of the baseline information is set out in section 7 of the IIA Scoping report.
