NCIL Call for Projects

We are inviting you to put forward bids to receive funding from  Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) in your local area. The Community Priorities document and application guidance below set out the types of projects that could be eligible for NCIL funding. 

The annual bidding round 2022 runs for six weeks from 24 May to 11:59 pm on 5 July 2022. Final decisions on projects that receive funding will be made by ward councillors and confirmed through an Executive Decision. 

There is £4.88mn NCIL available (as of April 2022)

Community Priorities

The Council engaged with residents between February to March 2020 and established the following community priorities to guide allocation of NCIL:

  • Air quality
  • Policing resources and Emergency services
  • Parks and open spaces
  • Streetscape
  • Community safety

The consultation also identified priorities for each ward, these are set out in the guidance note available below.
