Survey of properties affected by the 12 July Flood Event

Following the flooding event that impacted Kensington and Chelsea on 12 July 2021, the Council, in its role as the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA), is undertaking a formal flood investigation under Section 19 of the Flood and Water Management Act (2010).

Survey

As part of the above investigation into the July flood event, we are asking owners/tenants of properties that were affected by the flooding to complete a short questionnaire, which should take no longer than 10 - 20 mins to complete. The information supplied will help the Council to understand how this flooding event has impacted the local community, and to consider potential options to manage the risk of similar flooding occurring in the future.

The Information supplied will be generalised for public reporting. Specific information provided about individual properties will not be made public and individual addresses and locations will not be identified in a public document.

The survey is open for two weeks starting on 17 January 2022 and will close at 23:59 pm on 31 January 2022. Please submit your response before the closing date.

More information about the flood event and actions the Council has taken since the event can be found on our website at the following link: https://www.rbkc.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/planning-policy/july-2021-flooding-event
