Earl's Court culture study

Kensington and Chelsea Council are seeking expressions of interest from cultural and creative organisations interested in being the major cultural presence within the Earl’s Court site in order to help us refine the overall placemaking vision for this new development.

In addition, as part of a mixed-use development, the Council anticipates that the site will provide offices, workspaces including affordable workspaces plus some retail uses.

We would like to explore and understand the cultural opportunities and spatial requirements with potential ‘anchor tenants’ to make ensure the cultural offer will thrive and make the site a distinctive and vibrant new place.

Working with external consultants, the Council will have detailed discussions with three shortlisted organisations to draw out key findings to feed into the placemaking vision for the site and assist the site’s developer to find the best match for the cultural offer on site. The site developer will make final decisions about the ‘anchor tenant’.
