Earl’s Court Opportunity Area draft placemaking framework

About the Earl's Court draft placemaking framework

The framework has been produced to develop and add detail to the Council’s vision for the Earl’s Court Opportunity Area, developed in collaboration with the local community, the developer and other stakeholders. It identifies the key placemaking priorities to deliver the Council’s vision for the site.

The framework is not intended to be a comprehensive brief for the site; rather, it sets out the placemaking criteria to shape the development so that it meets the priorities of the Council, local residents and businesses.

Earl’s Court Opportunity Area vision and site allocation

The vision and site allocation for the Earl’s Court site lie within the New Local Plan Review (NLPR). The NLPR is now at ‘Regulation 19’ stage, having passed through a number of other consultation stages. You can read the vision and site allocation here, and there is the opportunity to comment on whether the plan is ‘sound’.
