The Council designated a new conservation area covering the William Sutton and Samuel Lewis Estates in Chelsea on 6 June 2019.

A supporting document called the Chelsea Estates Conservation Area Appraisal (CAA) outlines the character and appearance of the Chelsea Estates Conservation Area and provides evidence of the historic and architectural interest of the area.
